Julie Miran, the Director of Information Services, is using a wiki with the Hill Class of 1964 to create and record their service in Vietnam. We use this tool to create a flexible and hopefully indestructible tool to build content over time and to create a living archive. This session will address some interesting challenges presented by working with a group of people for whom immediate access and publication was an initial deterrent and has resulted in the site remaining private. Long-term goals are to create a living digital archive that can be used in classes and even re-engaged alums with the school way beyond the outreach of tools like Facebook.
